BELL CITY, Mo. — Pershing Perry, 90, of Bell City died Sunday, March 1, 2009, at his home.
He was born Oct. 20, 1918, at Bell City, son of Alvin and Pearl Hubbs Perry. He and Juanita Gilles were married Sept. 23, 1940, in Cape Girardeau.
Perry was retired from Missouri Highway Department and farming. He was a member of Christian Life Church in Advance, Mo.
Survivors include two sons, Bob Perry of Poplar Bluff, Mo., Art Perry of Cape Girardeau; a sister, Ruth Harrell of Richmond, Mo.; six grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-granddaughter.
He was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Morgan Funeral Home in Advance.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Gavin Page officiating. Burial will be in Morgan Memorial Park in Advance.
