SEDGEWICKVILLE -- Perry Edgar Statler, 77, of Sedgewickville died Sunday, Oct. 6, 1991, at John Cochran Veteran's Hospital in Poplar Bluff.
He was born Dec. 22, 1913 in Sedgewickville, the son of Adolph and Ida M. Seabaugh Statler.
He served in the U.S. Army from 1941-45 and lived and farmed in Sedgewickville his entire life.
He was a member of the Jackson post of the American Legion and also belonged to the Sedgewickville United Methodist Church.
Survivors include four brothers, Loy and Verlin Statler, both of St. Charles, Merlin Statler of Jackson, and Glen Statler of Sedgewickville; and two sisters, Elsie Seabaugh of Jackson and Hazel Seabaugh of Sedgewickville.
He was preceded in death by a brother and a sister.
Funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at McCombs Funeral Home in Jackson. The Rev. Fred Shrum will officiate, and burial will be in the Sedgewickville Cemetery. Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
