DONGOLA, Ill. -- Perry Dean Schultz Sr., 74, of Dongola, died Friday Nov. 22, 1996 at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
He was born Feb. 10, 1922 in Pulaski County, Ill., son of Henry George and Ollie Stoner Schultz.
He married Ruth Dillow Dec. 18, 1948. She preceded him in death April 29, 1990.
He was a retired truck driver. He was a veteran of World War II.
Survivors include five sons, Allen Dillow of McClure, Perry Dean Schultz Jr., of Olive Branch, Jim Schultz of Tamms, Kevin Schultz of Murphysboro and Terry Schultz of Cape Girardeau; two daughters, Irene Patterson of Sesser and Suzzie Garrett of Dongola; five brothers, Owen Schultz of Wetaug, Leanos Schultz of Mounds, Henry George Schultz Jr. of Collinsville, Donald Schultz of O'Fallon and Bobby Schultz of Pittsburg, Ill.; two sisters, Martha Brown of Dongola and Beulah Mars of Houston, Tex.; 16 grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a son, Otis, in 1969, and a sister.
Service will be held at 1 p.m. Sunday at Crain Funeral Home in Tamms with the Rev. Jeremy Muniz officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Pisgah Cemetery at Wetaug.
Friends may call after 5 p.m. today and until service time Sunday at the funeral home.
