PERRYVILLE -- Percy V. Henderson, 89, of Perryville died Monday, Aug. 16, 1999, at Montclair Residence Care II. He was born April 23, 1910, in East St. Louis, Ill., son of Henry and Henrietta Tucker Henderson. He and Hazel Jones were married Aug. 18, 1929. She died March 14, 1979...

PERRYVILLE -- Percy V. Henderson, 89, of Perryville died Monday, Aug. 16, 1999, at Montclair Residence Care II.

He was born April 23, 1910, in East St. Louis, Ill., son of Henry and Henrietta Tucker Henderson. He and Hazel Jones were married Aug. 18, 1929. She died March 14, 1979.

Henderson was retired from Missouri Highway Department. He was a member and elder at Brazeau Presbyterian Church.

Survivors include two daughters, Reva Breland of Wiggins, Miss., Helen Gerler of Mexico, Mo.; a son, Roy Henderson of St. Louis; two brothers, Clyde Henderson of Mattoon, Ill., Earl Henderson of St. Louis, Bernice Buchheit of Perryville; five grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by two brothers.

Friends may call at Young and Sons Funeral Home from 4-9 p.m. today, and Thursday from 6:30-11 a.m.

Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Brazeau Church. The Rev. Thomas Bass will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
