Penney Lynn Jackson, 38, of Cape Girardeau died Saturday, May 31, 2003, at her home.
She was born Aug. 5, 1964, in Mattoon, Ill., daughter of Wilburn L. and Billie J. Gibson Jackson.
Jackson was a 1983 graduate of Granite City High School in Granite City, Ill. She moved to Cape Girardeau in 1987 from Granite City. She was a machine operator at Lee-Rowan Co. Wire Products in Jackson.
Survivors include two daughters, Erica Ishum and Ashley Jones of Cape Girardeau; her mother, Billie Hadley of St. Louis; two brothers, Jerry Jackson of Scott City, William Jackson of St. Louis; a sister, Beverly Jackson of Cape Girardeau; maternal grandmother, Lillie Sanderson of O'Fallon, Mo.; paternal grandmother, Eddie Jackson of Cape Girardeau; and a granddaughter.
She was preceded in death by her father, a sister, and both grandfathers.
Friends may call at Ford and Sons Sprigg Street Funeral Home from 10 a.m. to noon Wednesday.
Graveside service will be at 12:30 p.m. Wednesday at Lorimier Cemetery. The Rev. Jerry Jackson will officiate.
