Peggy Louise Vann, 67, of Cape Girardeau passed away Friday, Oct. 8, 2021, at Hunter Acres Caring Center in Sikeston, Missouri. She was born June 29, 1954, in Cape Girardeau, the daughter of William Earl and Beulah Everee Vann. As a resident of Cape Girardeau, she attended elementary school and graduated from high school. Peggy Louise Vann, 67, of Cape Girardeau passed away Friday, Oct. 8, 2021, at Hunter Acres Caring Center in Sikeston, Missouri.

She was born June 29, 1954, in Cape Girardeau, the daughter of William Earl and Beulah Everee Vann.

As a resident of Cape Girardeau, she attended elementary school and graduated from high school. After high school, she relocated to Long Beach, California, where she resided for many years before returning to Cape Girardeau. Most recently, she was a resident of Sikeston.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her only sister, Deborah Antoinette; brother, Robert Andrew; nephew, Mark Anthony; and a great-niece, Moniah.

Peggy is survived by three sons, Anthony Shawn of Oklahoma and Phillip and Roderick of Cape Girardeau, and a daughter, Philece of Ohio.

She is also survived by four grandchildren, Shirayha L. Vann-Washington of Hawaii, Anthony Jawone Vann, Jarrone M. Vann of Oklahoma and Amari Stefon Brooks; three great-grandchildren, JaShawn L Vann, Zaniya Vann and Kaliyah Vann; two brothers, David (Jean) Vann of St. Louis and Mark (Janice) Vann of La Palma, California; aunt, Missionary Martha J. Wilson of Cape Girardeau; and a host of loving family, friends and relatives.

Cremation will be accorded. The family will be hosting a private celebration of life.
