Peggy Lott Tirmenstein, lovely as ever at 77, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, May 26, 2010, as the sun rose.

She was born June 9, 1932, to Jeanette and Jimmie Lott in Memphis, Tenn. In 1952 Peg married her childhood sweetheart, and for the next 57 years she brought warmth, light and laughter into their family.

She loved to cook and entertain; whether volunteering at church or hosting celebrations in her kitchen, she had the gift of hospitality and the ability to make everyone feel at home. Today, she is at home, rejoicing with her savior and making heavenly cream puffs for the loved ones she awaits.

Left to cherish her memory is her husband, Martine Goodin Tirmenstein, formerly of Benton, Mo.; a daughter, Laurie; three sons, Chris, Les, Greg and wife Cathy; a sister, Vicki and husband Donn; six grandchildren; seven nieces and nephews; and multitudes of precious friends, including her beloved Daffy Dozen and Magnificent Seven.
