Peggy Rendleman Norton, 71, of Gordonville died Friday, Oct. 28, 2005, at Saint Francis Medical Center.

She was born July 18, 1934, at Wolf Lake, Ill., daughter of Herbert and Gladys Kimmel Rendleman. She and Thomas Oral Norton Jr. were married March 4, 1951, at Piggott, Ark.

Norton was a member of the Zion United Methodist Church in Gordonville.

Survivors include her husband; three daughters, Jana Norton of Paducah, Ky., Susan Floyd of Millersville, Becky Henley of Jackson; two sons, Thomas Norton III of Anna, Ill., Jason Norton of Webster Groves, Mo.; a sister, Joan Mueller of Anna; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two sisters.

Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Lutz and Rendleman Funeral Home in Anna, Ill., and on Wednesday until the time of service.

Funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Ann B. Mowery officiating. Burial will be in Jonesboro Cemetery.
