BROOMFIELD, Colo. -- Peggy Ann Schirmer McVay passed away peacefully Saturday, June 9, 2018. She was born in 1943 in St. Louis, to Melvin and Lillian Meyer Schirmer. She graduated from Affton High School in Affton, Missouri, in 1961 and from Southeast Missouri State University in 1965. She married Charles McVay in 1965...

BROOMFIELD, Colo. -- Peggy Ann Schirmer McVay passed away peacefully Saturday, June 9, 2018.

She was born in 1943 in St. Louis, to Melvin and Lillian Meyer Schirmer.

She graduated from Affton High School in Affton, Missouri, in 1961 and from Southeast Missouri State University in 1965. She married Charles McVay in 1965.

She is survived by her loving husband, Charles McVay; her daughter, Melissa Judd; and brothers, Duane and Robert Schirmer.

Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Sept. 29 at Eden United Church of Christ, 8920 Eden Ave., in Affton.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Sept. 29 at the church, with a reception to follow.
