Peggy Sue Fee, 74, of Cape Girardeau died Wednesday, Feb. 23, 2005, at Ratliff Care Center.
She was born Sept. 17, 1930, in Portageville, Mo., daughter of William R. and Kathleen Tant Pettigrew. She and Donald A. Fee were married Oct. 2, 1948, in Piggott, Ark. He preceded her in death June 1, 1995.
Mrs. Fee attended Southeast Missouri State University and received a master's degree in education. She taught in Cape Girardeau elementary schools and was a member of Missouri State Teachers Association. She was a charter member of Kimbeland Country Club and an avid golfer.
She is survived by a son, Tim Fee of Cape Girardeau; a daughter, Jan Cotner of Jackson; six grandchildren, Alysha Sauer of Festus, Mo., Andrea Cotner, Shannon Fee and Sean Fee of Cape Girardeau, Stephen Fee of Baker, Fla., Holley Burlison of Crestview, Fla.; and six great-grandchildren, Stephanie, Ashley and Jayme Sauer, Mason Blake Spradlin, Kip Fee III, and Gabrielle Fee.
She was preceded in death by her parents; stepfather, Finis Outland; a son, Kip Fee; a brother, Dr. Donald Rhea Pettigrew; a sister, Margaret Stark; and a grandson, Kipper Fee.
Friends may call at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home from 4 to 8 p.m. today.
The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Friday at the funeral home, with the Rev. John Rice officiating. Burial will be in Cape County Memorial Park.
