PEGGY ANN CAPSHAW

Peggy Ann Capshaw, 68, of Cape Girardeau died Saturday, April 5, 1997, at St. Francis Medical Center.

She was born Jan. 26, 1929, at St. Louis, daughter of Pleas H. and Catherine Halbert Wilkinson. She and Ben Capshaw were married at Chaffee on May 4, 1947.

Capshaw was a homemaker and a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Cape Girardeau and of St. Mark's Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star. She was also a member of the Cape Girardeau County Country Club Ladies Golf Association.

Survivors include her husband; a daughter, Cathie Macier of Springfield, three grandchildren, and seven nieces and nephews.

Friends may call at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home from 4 to 6 p.m. Tuesday. Funeral services will be conducted at the First Presbyterian Church at 2 p.m. Wednesday. The Rev. Brendan Dempsey will officiate, with burial at the Memorial Park Cemetery.
