CHAFFEE -- Funeral service for Pearie M. Miller, Chaffee Route 2, will be held at 1 p.m. today at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee. The Rev. Perry Clark will officiate, with burial in Union Park Cemetery.
Miller, 87, died Thursday, March 31, 1994, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.
She was born Aug. 24, 1906, in Greenway, Ark., daughter of Augustus Ciciro and Julia Ann Grimes Thrasher. She first married Albert Jackson. She later married Luke Miller, who preceded her in death.
Miller owned and operated a cafe in New Madrid several years. She then moved to Chaffee and owned Pearl's Cafe several years until retiring.
Survivors include a son, Jerry Hampton, Chaffee Route 2; a daughter, Mary Wood of Chaffee; several grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, five sisters, a brother and a grandson.
