BERTRAND - Pearl Reed Finley, 76, of Bertrand, died Saturday, May 9, 1992 at the Miner Nursing Center at Miner of an extended illness.
She was born Jan. 2, 1916 at Sasfrass Ridge, Ky., daughter of the late John A. and Molly Curry Reed.
Finley lived for the past 30 years in Bertrand, where she was a member of the Cornerstone Baptist Church. She married Otis Finley on April 25, 1943. He survives at the Miner Nursing Center.
Other survivors include two step-sons, Buster Finley of Sikeston and Ulas Finley of Tulsa, Okla.; a brother, R.T. Reed of Blytheville, Ark.; sisters Laverne Kemp of Cash, Ark. and Lovie Priest of Kalamazoo, Mich.; 14 grand children and several great-grandchildren and great, great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one son, two step-sons, one step-daughter, and one sister.
Friends may call after 5 p.m. today at the Shelby Funeral Home at Charleston and after 10 a.m. Monday at the Cornerstone Baptist Church. Funeral services will be conducted at the church at 1:30 p.m. Monday. The Rev. Jim Romine, pastor of the church, will officiate.
The body will be buried in the Oak Grove Cemetery near Charleston.
