Pearl N. McLain, 90, of Cape Girardeau died Sunday, Sept. 13, 1992, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
She was born Dec. 5, 1901, at Oriole, the daughter of John and Jane Reynolds Noland. On Oct 20, 1921, she married Lawrence McLain at Oriole. He survives of the home.
She lived in Sikeston from 1949 until 1981, when she moved to Cape Girardeau. She was a homemaker and a member of Centenary United Methodist Church in Cape Girardeau and the church's Wimodawsis organization for several years. She also was a member since 1923 of the Order of Eastern Star #91 in Jackson.
Other survivors include a daughter, La Fern M. Stiver of Cape Girardeau; a sister, Cecil Schatte of Cape Girardeau; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
A brother and four sisters also preceded her in death.
Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. today at Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel in Cape Girardeau, where funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday. The Rev. Neil Stein will officiate, and burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery in Cape Girardeau.
