PATTON, Mo. -- Pearl Irene Hart, 90, of Patton passed away Monday, Aug. 30, 2010, at the Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau. She was born Aug. 15, 1920, in Parma, Mo., daughter of Orville Alvie and Margarette Biggs Teaford. She and Eugene Thomas Hart were married Jan. 19, 1943. He passed away Jan. 8, 2002...

PATTON, Mo. -- Pearl Irene Hart, 90, of Patton passed away Monday, Aug. 30, 2010, at the Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau.

She was born Aug. 15, 1920, in Parma, Mo., daughter of Orville Alvie and Margarette Biggs Teaford. She and Eugene Thomas Hart were married Jan. 19, 1943. He passed away Jan. 8, 2002.

Mrs. Hart had worked as a florist. She was a member of Happy Old People in Patton, VFW Auxiliary and Patton United Methodist Church.

Survivors include two daughters, Marilyn Hart of Cape Girardeau, Suzanne Stevens of Scott City; two sisters, Ethel Deforge of St. Ann, Mo., Rosa Lee Balsmann of Cape Girardeau; two grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; a son, Thomas Alvie Hart; a daughter, Lorraine Theresa Hart; two brothers, Orville Teaford Jr. and Jesse Teaford; three sisters, Mable Allen, Helen Teaford and Stella Teaford.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Liley Funeral Home in Patton.

The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Sarah Hamilton officiating. Burial will be in Patton Cemetery.
