CHARLESTON, Mo. -- Pearl M. Forbey, 82, of Charleston died Monday, Oct. 24, 2005, at Bertrand Nursing Facility.
She was born Nov. 13, 1922, at Benton, daughter of John Ross and Beulah Minter Ervin. She and Archie Forbey were married Oct. 2, 1943. He died Feb. 4, 1995.
Forbey retired from Brown Shoe Co. and was a member of the Church of the Nazarene.
Survivors include a son, Jim Forbey of Bloomfield, Mo.; a daughter, Gwen Phenicie of Sikeston; a brother, Lloyd Ervin of Cape Girardeau; a sister, Betty "June" Carriveau of Flint, Mich.; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; three stepgrandchildren; and two great-stepgrandchildren.
She was preceded in death by four brothers and three sisters.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. today at McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston, with the Rev. Kevin Eskew officiating. Burial will be in IOOF Cemetery.
