ADVANCE -- Funeral service for Pearl F. Camren of Advance was held Saturday at Morgan Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Keith Price officiated, with burial in Morgan Memorial Park Cemetery.
Camren, 89, died Wednesday, Oct. 7, 1992, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
She was born Dec. 29, 1902, near Greenbrier, daughter of Thomas F. and Martha Jane Kinder Borders. She and Audie Camren were married June 5, 1918, at Bloomfield. He died May 17, 1981.
The Camrens owned and operated Brownwood Junction Store about 25 years. She was a member of Brownwood General Baptist Church.
Survivors include six sons, Hubert, Hurshel, J.T. and Harold Camren of Advance, Herbert Camren of Cherokee Village, Ark., William Camren of Granite City, Ill.; two daughters, Lucille Scott of Webster Groves, Eula Brown of Millersville; a brother, Elvin Borders of Farmington; a sister, Edna Storz of Festus; 20 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
