BLOOMFIELD -- Pearl Mae Cook, 88, died Wednesday, Jan. 31, 1996, at Dexter Memorial Hospital in Dexter.
She was born Dec. 19, 1907, near Clines Island, daughter of James Monroe and Lottie Curd Baker. She and John Clyde Cook were married Aug. 5, 1922. He died Aug. 23, 1973.
Cook spent most of her life in the Bloomfield community. She was a member of Beech Grove General Baptist Church near Avert.
Survivors include two sons, Larry Cook of Dallas, Texas, Gary Cook of Farmington, Mich.; three daughters, Wanda Pullum and Susie McCollum of Bloomfield, Colleen Sykes of Dixon, Ky.; two brothers, Joe Baker of Bloomfield, J.A. Baker of Sikeston; 16 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son and daughter.
Friends may call at Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home after 5 p.m. Friday.
Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Lonnie Clubb of Puxico officiating. Burial will be in Bluff Cemetery near Idalia.
