Pearl F. Bevill, 91, of Cape Girardeau died Sunday, Nov. 29, 1998, at Southeast Missouri Hospital.
She was born Jan. 3, 1907, in Cairo, Ill., daughter of William and Anne Rice Franklin. She and Albert L. Underwood were married in 1923 in Cairo. He died in 1925. She and Howard H. Bevill were married April 30, 1937, in Cairo. He died in February 1978.
Bevill moved to Cape Girardeau in 1940 from Cairo. She worked 22 years at International Shoe Co. She was a member of Centenary United Methodist Church and United Methodist Women.
Survivors include a son, Albert Underwood; a brother, Oscar Franklin of Phoenix, Ariz.; two sisters, Lucille Hamm of St. Louis, Irene Tinker of Phoenix; three grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a son, three brothers, seven sisters, and a great-grandchild.
Friends may call at Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel from 4-6 p.m. today.
Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the chapel, with Dr. Clayton Smith officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park.
