Snider, 72, died Sunday, July 13, 1997, at St. Francis Medical Center.

She was born March 14, 1925, in Spartanburg, S.C., daughter of Lloyd and Bertie Luvanda Clement Burrell. She and Shelton L. "Bub" Snider were married Feb. 24, 1959, at Morley. He died June 10, 1970.

Snider moved to Cape Girardeau 35 years ago from Spartanburg. She worked at International Shoe Co., and then more than 25 years with Missouri Department of Health. She retired in 1991.

Survivors include two sons, Mike Snider of Cape Girardeau, Jerry Kiehl with the U.S. Army in Okinawa; a daughter, Nancy Kiehl of Cape Girardeau; and four grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son, brother and two sisters.
