CHARLESTON, Mo. -- Pauline Lucretia Scheffer, 75, of Charleston died Monday, Dec. 27, 2004, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau. She was born Jan. 25, 1929, in Charleston, daughter of Clem and Emma Gibbear Scheffer. Scheffer lived in Charleston all her life. She was a member of St. Henry Catholic Church, Daughters of Isabella, and had been a special caregiver at St. Henry School...

CHARLESTON, Mo. -- Pauline Lucretia Scheffer, 75, of Charleston died Monday, Dec. 27, 2004, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

She was born Jan. 25, 1929, in Charleston, daughter of Clem and Emma Gibbear Scheffer.

Scheffer lived in Charleston all her life. She was a member of St. Henry Catholic Church, Daughters of Isabella, and had been a special caregiver at St. Henry School.

Survivors include two brothers, Joe Scheffer of Baldwin, Ill., Clem Scheffer Jr. of Sikeston, Mo.; two sisters, Christine Senciboy of Perkins, Mo., and Frances Slayden of Charleston.

She was preceded in death by four brothers and three sisters.

Friends may call at McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston from 5 to 8 p.m. today.

The funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at St. Henry Church, with Monsignor Stephen Schneider officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
