PERRYVILLE -- Funeral service for Mrs. Pauline L. Schemel of Perryville will be held at 3 p.m. today at Young and Sons Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Donald Loesch will officiate, with burial in Immanuel Lutheran Church Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home after 11 a.m. today.

Mrs. Schemel, 79 years old, died Wednesday, March 6, 1991, at Jonora Rest Home in DeSoto.

She was born June 14, 1911, at Perkins, daughter of Emmet and Viola Luther Miller. She first married August Wahlers, who died Nov. 18, 1955. She later married Arthur Schemel, who died in 1964.

Mrs. Schemel was a member of Immanuel Church and Perryville Senior Citizens.

Survivors include two daughters and a son-in-law, Maxine Gray of Collinsville, Ill., Betty and Rex Lightfoot of Affton; seven grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two brothers.
