SIKESTON, Mo. -- Florence Pauline Kelley, 94, of Sikeston died Monday, March 7, 2005, at Missouri Delta Medical Center.
She was born Nov. 24, 1910, in Vanduser, Mo., daughter of Charles H. and Louise Schuerenberg Martin. She and A.N. "Ted" Kelley were married in January 1940. He died April 21, 1987.
Kelley was a 1928 graduate of Kewanee High School, where she was a forward and captain of the basketball team.
She was a longtime member of Matthews Church of Christ, and attended Shady Acres Church of Christ in Sikeston.
Survivors include two sons, Charles Calvert of Arlington, Texas, Jerry Kelley of Sikeston; three daughters, Myrtle Kellett, Emma Patterson and Betty McMillen, all of Sikeston; a sister, Lucille Parks of New Madrid, Mo.; 15 grandchildren; and 23 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a brother and a sister.
Friends may call at Ponder Funeral Home from 5 to 8 p.m. today.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with Johnny Hester and Pat Hogan officiating. Burial will be in Sikeston Memorial Park Cemetery.
