Pauline James

WEST PADUCAH, Ky. — Pauline Mildred James, 95, of West Paducah passed away Friday, May 5, 2023, at Gaither Suites in Paducah, Kentucky.

She was a cafeteria worker at Concord Elementary School until retirement. She was a member of Fountain Avenue United Methodist Church. She enjoyed quilting and going to yard sales in her spare time. She loved spending time with her family.

Surviving is her daughter, Janet Jeffers; son, John James; and three granddaughters, Jennifer (Terry) Hill, Jackie (Dennis) Osborne and JoAnna (Bryan) Owen.

Pauline was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph James; parents, Columbus and Cora Crader; granddaughter, Jessica James; son, Joe (Judy) James; and her best friend, Louise Booher.

Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, May 13, at Lindsey Funeral Home in Paducah, with the Rev. Eddie Smith officiating. Burial will follow at McKendree Church Cemetery.

Friends may visit the family from 11 a.m. to service hour Saturday, May 13, at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made in her honor to Mercy Health Lourdes Hospice.
