PAULINE HORRELL

ORAN, Mo. -- Pauline Helen Horrell, 94, of Oran died Sunday, Dec. 10, 2000, at her home.

She was born Nov. 1, 1906, at Oran, daughter of Leo and Theresa Kiefer Halter. She and Henry Horrell were married Nov. 24, 1924, at Oran. He died April 1, 1950.

Horrell had been a cook for the priest at Guardian Angel Catholic Church. She was a member of Guardian Angel Church and St. Ann Sodality.

Survivors include two sons, Paul Horrell of Scott City, Mo., Theon Horrell of Leopold, Mo.; six daughters, Teresa Eftink and Alice Gosche of Chaffee, Mo., Lucille Ackman of Cape Girardeau, Alma Eftink of Oran, Loretta Kolozy of Colorado Springs, Colo., Martha Sheppard of Scott City; 27 grandchildren; 40 great-grandchildren; and nine great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son, five sisters, four brothers, a granddaughter, and two great-grandchildren.

Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. today at Guardian Angel Church, with the Revs. Glenn Eftink, Lewis Hejna and Normand Varone officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
