Doris Pauline Heuer, 88, of Cape Girardeau died Sunday, July 5, 2015, at the Lutheran Home.
She was born Sept. 7, 1926, in Grand Tower, Illinois, to Jesse L. and Selma Grace Conrad Anderson. Pauline and George R. Heuer were married June 30, 1946, at Old Hanover Lutheran Church. He died Aug. 26, 2001.
Pauline helped her husband on the farm, which was located next to the Jaycee Golf Course. She was a member of Hanover Church, former member of the Ladies Aid and Dramatic Club and Sunday school member.
Survivors include a daughter, Charlotte (John) Edwards of Cape Girardeau; a son, Kenny (Malinda) Heuer of Branson West, Missouri; four grandchildren, Nathan Edwards, Jonathan Edwards, Kendal Heuer and Mitch Kinder; five great-grandchildren, Andrew and Grace Heuer and Ella, Dexter and Paxton Kinder; and special caregivers, Cheryl Gerhardt, Nancy Hagy and Lynn Hassel.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; brothers, Earl, Carroll and Harold Anderson; infant brother, Kenneth Anderson; and sisters, Shirley Welter and Betty Violette.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today and from 9 a.m. to service time Wednesday at Hanover Church.
The funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the church, with the Rev. Tony Kobak and Vicar Anthony Cave officiating. Burial will be in Hanover Church Cemetery.
Ford and Sons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
