Pauline E. Hellmeyer, 91, of Springfield, Ill., formerly of Cape Girardeau, died Friday, April 3, 1998, at Villa East Nursing Home in Sherman, Ill.
She was born Jan. 20, 1907, in Shobonier, Ill., daughter of B. Frank and Lula Girard Perry. She and Louis B. Hellmeyer were married in 1925. He died Nov. 23, 1980.
Hellmeyer had attended Brown's Business College, and was a member of First Church of the Nazarene. She had lived in Springfield since 1991.
Survivors include a daughter, Treva Kasper of Springfield, Ill.; a sister, Flossie Leonard of St. Louis; a brother, Carl Perry of Kansas City; five grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a daughter.
Friends may call at Staab Funeral Home in Springfield from 2-4 p.m. Sunday.
Funeral will be at 4 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home, with the Revs. Tim Gates and Jack Kovalik officiating.
Graveside service will be at 1 p.m. Monday in Memorial Park in Cape Girardeau.
