Pauline I. Heard, 94, of Cape Girardeau died Wednesday, Oct. 17, 2001, at the Lutheran Home.
She was born Aug. 22, 1907, at Oran, Mo., daughter of John M. and Savannah Bechel Menz. She and Clarence J. Heard were married June 10, 1923, at Oran. He died March 25, 1992.
Pauline was a homemaker and had been an inspector at Lowenbaum Dress Factory. She was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Franklin (Juanita) McNeely of Cape Girardeau; a granddaughter, Joyce Parker of Cape Girardeau; three great-grandchildren, Susan DeLosSantos of Glendale, Ariz., David Parker of Morrison, Colo., Robert Parker of Cape Girardeau; and 13 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, and two sisters.
There is no visitation.
Graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Mary's Cemetery. The Rev. Dan Schulte will officiate.
Ford and Sons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
