BELL CITY -- Funeral service for Pauline Green of Bell City will be held at 10 a.m. today at Ponder Funeral Chapel in Sikeston. The Rev. Jerry Turner will officiate, with burial in Stanfield Cemetery at Clarkton.

Green, 87, died Saturday, Dec. 5, 1992, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.

She was born July 12, 1905, at Clarkton, daughter of Will and Lulu Essary Dye. She married Leonard Green Nov. 14, 1920. He died Nov. 22, 1968.

Green was a member of Garden Ridge General Baptist Church, Shawan Extension Club, and Bell City Chapter Order of Eastern Star.

Survivors include two sons, Bill Green of Clymer, Pa., Winford Green of Topeka, Kan.; a daughter, Jerris Painton of Painton; a brother, Ode Dye of Fredericktown; a sister, Lucille Burris of Sikeston; eight grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.
