Pauline Frederick, 65, of Scott City died Monday, Oct. 27, 2003, at her home. She was born May 24, 1938, in West Lebanon, Ind., daughter of Robert Myron and Nellie Margaret Kennedy Gore. She and Donald Chester Frederick Sr. were married Aug. 31, 1957, in New Ulm, Germany. He died Sept. 16, 1983...

Pauline Frederick, 65, of Scott City died Monday, Oct. 27, 2003, at her home.

She was born May 24, 1938, in West Lebanon, Ind., daughter of Robert Myron and Nellie Margaret Kennedy Gore. She and Donald Chester Frederick Sr. were married Aug. 31, 1957, in New Ulm, Germany. He died Sept. 16, 1983.

Frederick was a civil servant with the federal government. She was a member of VFW Auxiliary, Pyramid Pals Club of Danville, Ill., N.C.O.'s Club, PTA Board of Lion, Ill., and a Girl Scout leader.

Survivors include two sons, Donald C. Frederick Jr. of Rosebud, Mo., and David A. Frederick of New Haven, Mo.; two daughters, Donna Sheren of Scott City, Diane Blankenship of Cape Girardeau; six brothers, Robert Gore of West Chicago, Ill., James Gore of Tucson, Ariz., Bruce Gore of Royal Oak, Mich., Donald Gore of Dixon, Mo., Thomas Gore of Jacksonville, N.C., and John Gore of Kenosha, Wis.; one sister, Doris Long of Benton, Mo.; 12 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a daughter and two brothers.

Friends may call at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City from 5 to 8 p.m. today.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the chapel, with the Rev. Randy Morse officiating. Burial will be in Lightner Memorial Cemetery in Scott City.
