Jessie Pauline Collins, 74, of Scott City died Saturday, Aug. 9, 2014, at Monticello House in Jackson.
She was born Nov. 23, 1938, at Randles, daughter of Samuel Jefferson and Alfredia Marie Beklund Hitt. She married Richard Lee Collins on Sept. 25, 1959, at Ancell (Scott City).
Pauline was a bookkeeper at SuperValu in Scott City. She was a member of St. Paul United Methodist Church in Commerce, Missouri.
Survivors include her husband; a son, Jeff Collins of Benton, Missouri; a daughter, Teri Collins of Jackson; three grandchildren, Todd Kaufmann of Mildenhall, England, Erika Bramer of Newport, Rhode Island, and Jordan Collins of Benton; a great-grandson, Adam Kaufmann of Mildenhall; three sisters, Essie Slinkard of Florissant, Missouri, and Melba Buckner and Marie Vetter of Scott City.
She was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Amber Kaufmann.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Amick-Burnett Chapel in Scott City.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Friday at the chapel, with the Rev. Micheal Woods officiating. Burial will be in Lightner Cemetery in Scott City.
