JONESBORO, Ill. -- Pauline Clark, 91, of Jonesboro died Monday, June 2, 1997, at City Care Center in Anna.
She was born May 26, 1906, in Union County, daughter of Thomas F. and Anna Hale Aldridge. She and Ashley Preston Clark were married Jan. 21, 1933, at Jonesboro. He died April 15, 1989.
Clark was an elementary teacher 41 years at McGuire, Wolf Lake, McClure, Jonesboro and Anna schools.
She was a member of First Evangelical Presbyterian Church, National Society, and Daughters of the American Revolution.
Survivors include two brothers, Charles Aldridge of Wolf Lake, Millard Aldridge of Wentzville, Mo.; two sisters, Kathleen Davis of Jonesboro, and Clara Hellman of Oklahoma City, Okla.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister, and four brothers.
Friends may call at Hileman and Parr Funeral Home in Jonesboro from 5-8 p.m. today.
Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Steve Wilkinson of-ficiating. Entombment will be in Jonesboro Cemetery.
