TAMMS, Ill. -- Pauline Christian, 92, of Tamms died Wednesday, Sept. 17, 1997, at Jonesboro Health Care Center in Jonesboro.
She was born May 14, 1905, in Marion, daughter of Henry and Mary Ellen Price. She married Clarence Christian, who preceded her in death.
Christian was a member of Maple Grove Baptist Church at Perks.
Survivors include six daughters, Frances Richardson of Mineola Texas, Betty McKinney of Alvin, Texas, Nancy Kelley of Granite City, Shirley Doan of Osceola, Ind., Wanda Baker of Marion, Brenda Ladanyi of Tamms; four sons, Junior Christian of Bronson, Mich., Gordon and Curtis Christian of Romulus, Mich., Jerry Christian of Lincoln Park, Mich.; a sister, Opal Christian of Cypress; a brother, Scott Price of Oil City, Mich.; 25 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two sons, a daughter, two sisters, two brothers, and two grandsons.
Friends may call at Jones Funeral Home in Tamms from 5-8 p.m. today.
Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Mt. Olive-Meisenheimer Cemetery near Dongola.
