Pauline Chance
GLENALLEN, Mo. — Pauline Chance, 84, of Glenallen died Friday, July 4, 2008, at Chateau Girardeau in Cape Girardeau.
She was born Sept. 8, 1923, in Brownwood, Mo., daughter of Roy Franklin and Emma Rosetta Long Harris. She and Edward Reginald "Bill" Chance Sr. were married Jan. 25, 1985.
Chance was a member of the Calvary Temple Church.
Survivors include her husband; three daughters, Velma Jean Wachter of St. Clair, Mo., Mary June Simmons of Oran, Mo., Rosetta Mae Kinder of Chaffee, Mo.; a stepdaughter, Clara Matilda Neaumann of Wild Peach, Texas; five stepsons, Edward Reginald Chance, Jr. of Houston, twins Raymond and Alvin Chance of Tulsa, Okla., Richard Calvin Chance and Timothy Randal Chance both of Glidden, Texas; a twin brother, Paul (Veda) Harris of Advance, Mo.; 10 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a grandson.
Visitation will be from 3 to 7 p.m. today at Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill, Mo.
The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Monday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Ethel Myers officiating. Burial will be in Balch Chapel Cemetery near Zalma, Mo.
