DONGOLA, Ill. -- Pauline Bond, 77, of Dongola died Friday, May 28, 2004, at her home. She was born Aug. 24, 1926, in Miller City, Ill., daughter of Cecil and Della Jones Haynes. She and Archie B. Bond were married Dec. 16, 1947, in Coopertown, Ky. He died Oct. 8, 1992. She was a member of Elco Baptist Church...

DONGOLA, Ill. -- Pauline Bond, 77, of Dongola died Friday, May 28, 2004, at her home.

She was born Aug. 24, 1926, in Miller City, Ill., daughter of Cecil and Della Jones Haynes. She and Archie B. Bond were married Dec. 16, 1947, in Coopertown, Ky. He died Oct. 8, 1992. She was a member of Elco Baptist Church.

Survivors include a daughter, Louise Mowell of Anna, Ill.; five sons, Virgil Williams, Calvin Bond, Ronnie Bond and Carl Bond, all of Dongola, Earl Bond of Anna; a foster daughter, Brenda Haynes of Dongola; a sister, Irene Davis of Bristol, Wis.; 15 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by three brothers and a sister.

Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Hileman Funeral Home in Jonesboro, Ill.

The funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Enloe Clemons officiating. Burial will be in Mission Chapel Cemetery near Dongola.
