MARBLE HILL, Mo. -- Pauline Beard, 78, of Eolia, Mo., died Tuesday, April 26, 2005, at Barnes-Jewish Hospital West in St. Peters, Mo.
She was born July 2, 1926, in Advance, Mo., daughter of Albert and Pearl Elledge Winchester. She and Warren Karr were married Jan. 3, 1946. He died March 11, 1972. She and Darris K. Beard were married Sept. 1, 1972. He died Nov. 24, 1996.
Beard was formerly of Marble Hill. She operated Paula's Beauty Shop many years.
Survivors include a son, Stanley Karr of Eolia; a daughter, Judy Barnoski of Manchester, Mo.; four brothers, Ray Winchester of Mount Morris, Mich., Clyde Winchester of Jonesburg, Mo., Bill Winchester of Washington, Mo., Wayne Winchester of Wildwood, Mo.; seven grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister.
Friends may call at Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Dan Overton officiating. A committal service will be held in Chapel of Memories Pavilion at Bollinger County Memorial Park Cemetery near Marble Hill.
