Pauline Elizabeth Archer, 77, of Cape Girardeau died Tuesday, May 4, 2004, at St. Francis Medical Center. She was born July 24, 1926, at Lilbourn, Mo., daughter of Orville and Nellie Pankey Lynn. She and Charles Elvis Archer were married May 13, 1944, in Piggott, Ark. He died Oct. 31, 1983...

Pauline Elizabeth Archer, 77, of Cape Girardeau died Tuesday, May 4, 2004, at St. Francis Medical Center.

She was born July 24, 1926, at Lilbourn, Mo., daughter of Orville and Nellie Pankey Lynn. She and Charles Elvis Archer were married May 13, 1944, in Piggott, Ark. He died Oct. 31, 1983.

Archer worked several years at Wal-Mart in Cape Girardeau. She was a member of Southside Baptist Church.

Survivors include a son, William Archer of Woodland, Calif.; three daughters, Barbara Thomas, Patricia Hurt and Eve Andrews of Cape Girardeau; two brothers, Harry Lynn of Brooksville, Fla., Donald Lynn of Nashville, Tenn.; 14 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by three brothers, two sisters and two great-grandchildren.

Friends may call at Ford and Sons Sprigg Street Funeral Home from 4 to 8 p.m. today.

A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. Friday at Mount Gilead Cemetery in Clarkton, Mo.
