Paula Denise Suzuki, 74, of Cape Girardeau died Sunday, April 21, 2024, at Mercy Hospital Southeast.

She was born Aug. 5, 1949, in Cape Girardeau to Lawrence and Vivian McDaniel Keesee. She and Patrick Suzuki were married July 1, 1978, in Cape Girardeau.

Paula retired as a clerical clerk at Community Counseling Center.

She was a member of Cape County Cowboy Church.

Survivors include her husband, Patrick Suzuki; two daughters, Tammy (Darin) Werner and Kim (Bryan) Hanebrink; two brothers, Lawrence (Mary Ann) Keesee and Mike (Sandra) Keesee; two sisters, Delores Bond and Kay (Walter) Marshall; and a sister-in-law, Kay Keesee; five grandchildren, Lori (Werner) Peel, Ashley (Werner) Swan and Graydon, Brody and Harlow Hanebrink; and five great-grandchildren, Camden and Liam Peel, Lakely, Saige and Theodore Swan.

Paula was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Dorris Keesee; and four brothers, William, Robert, Donald and Curtis Keesee.

Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday, April 26, at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home in Cape Girardeau.

Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 27, at the funeral home, with Pastor Jim Matthews officiating. Burial will be at Cape County Memorial Park Cemetery in Cape Girardeau.

Memorial contributions may be given to Cape County Cowboy Church, 220 Orchid Lane, Oak Ridge, MO 63769 or the Cape Girardeau Senior Center, 921 Clark Ave., Cape Girardeau, MO 63701.
