Paul Dean Wilke, 74, of Millersville died Tuesday, March 17, 2009, at his home.

He was born Nov. 15, 1934, at Kurreville, Mo., son of Aaron Luther and Thelma Mae Fulbright Wilke. He and Wanda Lee Statler were married Dec. 10, 1955, at Sedgewickville, Mo.

Wilke was a foreman with Penzel Construction Co. 27 years and then with Pace Construction of St. Louis until retiring in 1996. He was a member of Cape County Cowboy Church in Jackson, Daisy Coon Hunters Association, Westview Masonic Lodge 103 AF&AM of Millersville and 49-year member of Labor Local 1104 of Cape Girardeau.

Survivors include his wife; a son, Neil (Kelly) Wilke of Jackson; a daughter, Sherry (Rick) Kight of Scopus, Mo.; a sister, Pat (Ken) Bollinger of Marble Hill, Mo.; a sister-in-law, Mona Wilke of Sedgewickville; three grandchildren, Chelsey D. Kight, Alexandra Wilke and Matthew Kight; and a great-grandson, Peyton Kight.

A brother, Gene Wilke, died Feb. 21, 2008.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Cracraft-Miller Funeral Home in Jackson. A Masonic service will be held at 6:30.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Jim Matthews officiating. Burial will be in Russell Heights Cemetery in Jackson.

Memorials may be made to Cape County Cowboy Church or American Cancer Society.
