JACKSON -- Paul W. McCray, 82, of Jackson, died Thursday, Sept. 15, 1994, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
He was born Jan. 24, 1912, at Bell City, son of Mayo M. and Clara Caldonia Sitz McCray. He and Paula Graden were married June 30, 1934.
McCray farmed near Fruitland many years, moving to Jackson in 1962. He worked at Brase Inc. in Cape Girardeau, and for 21 years was a maintenance worker at Emanuel United Church of Christ.
He was a member of Emanuel Church and its Men's Fellowship, and former member of the church council.
Survivors include his wife; a brother, Clay McCray Keller of Merced, Calif.; a half sister, Elouise Louviere of Jackson; four grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two sons, two brothers and a sister.
Friends may call at McCombs Funeral Home from 4-8 p.m. today, and at Emanuel Church from 8:30-9:30 a.m. Saturday.
Funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the church, with the Rev. Sam Roethemeyer officiating. Burial will be in Salem Cemetery west of Cape Girardeau.
