EAST PRAIRIE -- Paul Vernon Williford, 60, of East Prairie, died Sunday, Aug. 20, 1995, at the home of a son in Paducah, Ky., following an extended illness.
He was born Oct. 28, 1934, in East Prairie, son of Charlie and Georgia M. Woods Williford.
Williford was a truck driver with TNT Holland Transportation in Sikeston.

Survivors include two sons, Paul and Scotty Williford of Paducah; a daughter, Darlene Durdin of Camden, Tenn., two brothers, Jerry Williford of Sikeston, Kenneth Williford of East Prairie; a sister, Charlene Marshall of East Prairie, and four grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a brother.
Friends may call at Shelby Funeral Home after 6 p.m. today.
Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with Jerry Brewer officiating. Burial will be in Dogwood Cemetery.
