Paul W. Sprenger, 84, of Cape Girardeau died Saturday, Sept. 16, 2000, at his home.
He was born March 31, 1916, at Illmo, Mo., son of Joseph A. and Sophia Marie Albrecht Sprenger. He and Dorothy B. Schwab were married June 10, 1951, at Cape Girardeau. She died May 12, 1999.
Sprenger was a self-employed farmer. He served in the U.S. Army from 1942 to 1946.
Survivors include a son, Lynn Paul Sprenger of Cape Girardeau; two daughters, Donna Sue Hinkle and Mary B. Kiser, both of Cape Girardeau; a brother, Joseph A. Sprenger of Cersy, Ark.; and four grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two sisters.
Friends may call after 4:30 p.m. today at Lorberg Memorial Funeral Chapel.
Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Andrew Lutheran Church, with the Rev. Paul Short officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, with full military honors.
