MOREHOUSE, Mo. -- Paul George Rennier, 79, died Monday, April 2, 2001, at Sells Rest Home in Matthews, Mo.
He was born Oct. 17, 1921, in Jasper County, Ill., son of Peter Anthony and Margaret Catherine Lobmier Rennier.
Rennier retired from Missouri Department of Transportation, and was a member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church.
He was a veteran of World War II.
Survivors include a daughter, Janice Henry of Morehouse; two brothers, Joseph Rennier of Sikeston, Mo., Carl Rennier of St. Charles, Mo.; two half brothers, Kenneth Rennier of St. Charles, Jerome Rennier of Morehouse; a sister, Mary Schuchart of Sikeston; three half sisters, Lillian Rennier of Morehouse, Theresa Mattingly of Champaign, Ill., Joyce Payne of Arizona; and two grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers.
Friends may call at Ponder Funeral Home in Sikeston from 5-8 p.m. today. A prayer service will be held at 7.
Funeral Mass will be held at 11:30 a.m. Thursday at St. Francis Church, with Msgr. William Stanton officiating. Burial will be in Matthews Cemetery, with full military honors.
