ADVANCE -- Paul R. Propst, 62, of Advance died Monday, May 11, 1998, at his home.
He was born Aug. 27, 1935, in Advance, son of Albert and Alberta Phillips Propst. He and Lena Asher were married in March 1959 in Poplar Bluff.
Propst was a retired mechanic and farmer.

Survivors include his wife; two sons, Ray and Jackie Propst of Advance; two daughters, Donna Warner and Ruth Steffey of Advance; three brothers, Charles Propst of Lincoln, Ill., Melvin Propst of Bloomfield, John Propst of Bourbon; a half brother, Leon Fredwell of Poplar Bluff; and five grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by an infant son and a sister.
Friends may call at Morgan Funeral Home from 4:30-8 p.m. today.
Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Morgan Memorial Park.
