Paul Norman Eichhorn, 88, of Cape Girardeau, died Wednesday, Dec. 8, 1999, at St. Francis Medical Center.
He was born June 20, 1911, in Lockport, Ill., son of William F. and Francis M. Woock Eichhorn.
He and Ruth N. Smithpeters were married Dec. 8, 1931, in Crown Point, Ind.
Eichhorn had retired from Texaco Oil, having worked as an operator/insulator/engineer from 1933-67. He moved to Cape Girardeau in 1986 from Lockport, Ill.
He was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Cape Girardeau and the Senior Citizens Center.
Survivors include his wife; a son, Richard P. Eichhorn of Delray Beach, Fla.; a daughter, Janette F. Eichhorn of Cape Girardeau; three grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and a sister.
Friends may call from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday at Lorberg Memorial Funeral Chapel.
Funeral will be Saturday at 1 p.m. at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, with Rev. Milton Ryan officiating. Burial will be in Fairmont Cemetery in Cape Girardeau.
