BLOOMFIELD -- Funeral service for Paul N. Bennett will be held at 2 p.m. today at Chiles-Cooper Funeral Chapel. The Rev. David Richardson will officiate, with burial in Walker Cemetery near here.
Bennett, 90, died Thursday, Nov. 12, 1992, at Vintage Villa Nursing Center at Dexter.
He was born Jan. 6, 1902, near Bloomfield, son of Marion and Mattie Huggins Bennett. He married Sadie Marie Aslin, who died Jan. 13, 1978.
Bennett was chairman of Stoddard County ASCS Committee 10 years, and was a charter member of Walker Cemetery Association. He was a member of Liberty Hill Baptist Church, but had attended the United Methodist Church in Dexter several years.
Survivors include two sons, Gene and Robert Bennett of Bloomfield; two brothers, Ray Bennett of Sikeston and Norman Bennett of Clearwater, Fla.
