EAST PRAIRIE, Mo. -- Paul David McLain, 64, died Wednesday, Sept. 12, 2001, at the Missouri Delta Medical Center.
Born Nov. 17, 1936, in East Prairie, he was the son of Floyd E. and Annie M. Powers McLain.
He was formerly employed as a department foreman for Watlow Electric in St. Louis and attended the First Church of God in East Prairie.
He was an Army veteran.
On Dec. 18, 1988, he was married to Frances E. Givens.
He is survived by his wife; one son, Terry McLain of East Prairie; one daughter, Deborah Haley of St. Ann, Mo.; two brothers, Carl McLain of St. Robert, Mo., James McLain of East Prairie; three sisters, Rose Ann Moore of East Prairie, Patricia Delfin of Branson and Janet Salazar of Fayetteville, Ark.; three grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one son.
Friends may call after 6 p.m. Saturday at the Shelby Funeral Home in East Prairie.
Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home with Larry Smith and Bob Kespelher officiating. Burial will follow in East Prairie Memorial Park Cemetery.
