GRASSY, Mo. -- Paul Dean "Buck" Liley, 72, of Benton, Ark., formerly of Grassy, died Saturday, Nov. 16, 2013, at the East Texas Medical Center in Tyler, Texas. He was born Dec. 14, 1940, at Grassy, son of Jessie and Viola Joslin Liley. Paul worked at various area pallet manufacturing plants and at the Lee Roan Manufacturing Co. in Jackson. He was an avid wild game hunter and especially liked to hunt deer. He also was a follower and fan of the St. Louis Cardinals baseball team...

GRASSY, Mo. -- Paul Dean "Buck" Liley, 72, of Benton, Ark., formerly of Grassy, died Saturday, Nov. 16, 2013, at the East Texas Medical Center in Tyler, Texas.

He was born Dec. 14, 1940, at Grassy, son of Jessie and Viola Joslin Liley.

Paul worked at various area pallet manufacturing plants and at the Lee Roan Manufacturing Co. in Jackson. He was an avid wild game hunter and especially liked to hunt deer. He also was a follower and fan of the St. Louis Cardinals baseball team.

Survivors include his sons, Jesse Dean Liley and Lonnie Lee Liley of Marble Hill, Mo.; two daughters, Paula Ann (Troy) Smith of Advance, Mo., and Paula Sue Liley of Marble Hill; 12 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and a special friend and caregiver, Debra Taylor of Benton.

He is preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Billie Lee Liley; and an infant sister.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday at the Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill.

The funeral will be 1 p.m. at the funeral home, with the Rev. Bobby Robbins officiating. Burial will follow in the Bollinger County Memorial Park Cemetery.
