CHAFFEE, Mo. -- Paul Joseph Keller, 69, of Chaffee died Tuesday, May 3, 2022, at Southeast Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
Born in Chaffee April 16, 1953, he was the son of Joseph Franklin Keller and Lena Loretta Nanney Keller Harris. On Oct. 12, 1974, he and Diane Marie Jansen were married at St. John Catholic Church in Leopold, Missouri. She survives.
Paul worked as a welder for many years and was employed with Railway Xpress. He was a race car mechanic and builder and enjoyed racing stock cars in Benton, Pevely and Farmington, Missouri. He was a member of St. John Catholic Church at Leopold.
He is survived by his wife of 47 years; two brothers, John Keller and Jimmy (Judy) Keller Sr., both of Delta; and two sisters, Brenda (the late Mike Sr.) McClard of Delta and Linda (Greg) Pace of Cape Girardeau.
Paul was preceded in death by his parents; stepfather, Lonnie Harris; and an infant brother, Jerry Keller.
Visitation will be from 10 to 11:30 a.m. Monday at Hutchings Funeral Chapel in Marble Hill, Missouri.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at noon Monday at St. John Catholic Church in Leopold. The Rev. Joseph Kelley will officiate. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
