ST. LOUIS -- Paul Junker of St. Louis died Thursday, Feb. 27, 2014, at Fountainbleau Lodge in Cape Girardeau.

He was born May 26, 1928, to Gertrude Kniermann and Antone Junker. He was married to Dorothy Brearly.

He worked for the St. Louis Board of Election Commissioners and Christian Brothers High School.

He is survived by children, Tim (Janet) Junker of Friedheim, Matt Bunner and Doug Ehret; grandchildren, Lacey and Kali Magrabe, Haylee and Cameron Bunner, Melanie and Joe Wall and Heather Emmett; six great-grandchildren; and a special friend, Virginia Nelson.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Dorothy; a son, Donald; a daughter, Kim Bunner; and a granddaughter, Jessica Junker.

Visitation will be at 11 a.m. until service time today at Valhalla Funeral Chapel in St. Louis.

The funeral service will be at noon today at the chapel. Interment is private at Hillcrest Abbey.
